Become an Organ Donor

There are currently 3,4000 patients in Michigan waiting for an organ transplant. Starting October 5th and running through October 11th, the Library will be participating in the Michigan Libraries for Life Organ Donation Drive through the Gift of Life Foundation. During this week, stop by the Reference Desk to register to become an organ and tissue donor.

Don't have the heart symbol on your driver's license? Come by the Reference Desk any day this week to become part of the Michigan Organ Donor Registry. We'll be giving out pens, heart-shaped stress balls, and plenty of info about organ donation. You could help save a life one day.
