Make a Difference! Teach Someone to Read.

Becoming a tutor for the library's Adult Literacy Program is a fantastic volunteer opportunity that will make a great difference in someone’s life. To become a tutor, you must attend 15 hours of training that will take place at the library on March 1st, 8th, and 15th, and commit to meeting with a learner 2 hours a week for 1 year. No formal training in education is required. If you are interested, please give us a call or stop by the Reference desk and ask for Liz or Tara.
