Spring is here and the Westland Library is buzzing with great programs. Bring non-perishable food items in and receive up to $20 off your current fines during our April Food for Fines program. Speaking of money, we’re looking to save you some with our Money Smart Week programs from April 20th – April 25th. To celebrate National Poetry Month, our 4th Annual Westland Writes book is accepting submissions from April 1 – April 27 and we're holding a Book Title Poetry Contest during the same time period. Help us recognize and celebrate one of the diverse cultures of this region with our new Muslim Journeys Bookshelf. We have a Kick-off Event for the collection on April 13th and a concert on April 15th. All this in addition to our usual array of Computer Classes, Chess Clubs, Friday Movies, kids programs, books, music, movies, and computers. We look forward to seeing you.
